Scores Matter if...
The scores would matter if the original NEP teams were having any success against the Stars ECNL teams. Since they are not, the boys in Waltham are not too keen on posting the scores. That's what happens when the almighty OZ is hiding behind the curtain working the levers.

Let me put it a different way. The NEP may not concerned with whether or not posters on this site, like these last two posters, know the scores or not. For them it is irrelevant and just something for them to comment on. As for the kids, coaches, clubs, and parents, they know the scores and understand that teams may win, lose, or draw. Based on how they play, and, yes the scores, they are able to gauge themselves and determine what needs to be done to play better.
The following comment:
"They don't Keep score so that the kids do not get hurt feelings."
could only have been made by an arrogant, moronic, soccer-illiterate who has been in the MAPLE-frame of mind and obsessed with, not only the scores themselves, but more so the public display of the scores. I might assume that this kind of poster had kids on some successful teams in MAPLE and gained personal satisfaction by living through their son or daughter's success. If this were the case then I congratulate his/her kids, but wish this parent the best in their psychotherapy when their kids are grown and have moved on, for they will have little left to thrive on.
