The early games are usually reserved for younger refs to get experience. Without being there and a parent of a young referee (also a club player), this is usually the case. People (usually parents who are experts that never played a single game or taken a coaching or ref course) are always complaining about the quality of the officiating these days. It's no wonder that Maple has a problem finding good qualified officials with all the crap happening on a regular basis, which now seems to be the norm and getting worse. Many of the refs I know are fleeing Maple for NEP due to a safer working environment, better pay and cash on the spot. This will be my daughters last season officiating Maple games. NEP looks much more inviting. Maple needs to do more. If a coach is suspended, they should be barred from ANY club activities, including any involvement with any other team(s) they may be involved with (practices, games, etc...).

I'm ok with "professional coaches" at U10 & 11 as long as they behave "professionally".

MAPLE is a joke. The teams, fields and refs.

All is good clubs are moving to NEP. That says it all.

It has perpetrated itself into one of the finest scams as it preys upon the gullibility of every parent who wants the best for their child. And this is true at all clubs, not just the big ones (who of course, charge a bit more for their babysitters).
I used to doubt this view, but lately am seeing that it may be true.

What a fraud she is! I watched her after the game going at it with the assistant and she was preaching sportsmanship etc...It just shows that these coaches have short memories. I don't condone what the NEFC coach did, but for the other coach to act self-righteous, and then find out that she has been tossed for worse, it sickens me.

Anyway, I loved the game. The field and the ref helped the outcome, but hope they meet again on a bigger field.

Stop blaming the ref. It's a cop out. If you were a superior team, the score wouldn't be that close. They are kids, get over it.

Don't let the facts get in the way of your argument. You don't know what your talking about. If you were at yesterday's game you know what happened first hand. As for any event that may or may not have happened in the past your relying on anonymous posters whose agenda is to take attention off your coaches actions. Look at the track record off all your coaches. If there's negative attention blame the coach not everybody else.

Now they are blaming the field (and the ref). What a joke.

And the parents always respond, blame the refs, blame the field, blame the other coach, blame the other players, blame the dog collar makers. Maybe they show step back and open their eyes, and blame the koolade.

Hey guys, let's get back to the positives. Yesterday's game nefc vs sss was a great and exciting game. Both teams are very talented. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season. They are just kids...

It's hard for a koolade addict to admit they have a problem. Scientists are trying desperately to find a cure, but have been unsuccessful. It will take years to counter the koolade addiction problem in this country.

Just kids who witnessed one of the coaches who is supposed to be their leader and role model act like a complete fool and disrespect an official and the game. Hope he gives them a sincere apology and tells them his behavior was unacceptable and that he let them all down.
