Topdrawer is a tiny outfit; virtually one man. The primary basis, similar to that of Soccerbuz, is a sorting of the Regional and National ODP attendance listings. The assumption follows that this captures the majority the top talent. Moms, Dads and coaches do have some ability to bring players to their attention, but that's the full extent of any influence or relevance.

Actually this is not true anymore. It has been purchased by a larger company - US Football Club - out of CA I think. Not sure how many people focus on the youth as opposed to college soccer.

Keepers get so little attention, it's great to see one being so successful -

Here's another MA player who shined at the U14 Boys National Team ID camp :

"Diego Fagundez continues to be the standout player of the camp. He provided another highlight in the early going by volleying an incoming pass over a defender and to himself, after which he struck a shot with fury to score the game’s opening goal."

How are all stars picked in the different leagues? Is it by coach nomination?

Looks like the MIAA did the right thing. You have to give these kids a lot of credit for keeping their grades up. I know my child is buried after missing a couple of days due to sickness. Can't imagine trying to stay current for weeks at a time.

Common theme with all these kids touted in TD is their willingness to work on their own.

How tall is Diego Fagundez and how much smaller is he compared to the other U14 kids?
