Originally posted by Unregistered View Postinteresting, i don't think they have played much indoor this winter.. could it be you are just a little bitter that she doesn't play for your team.. the truth is that in 2 1/2 years the nefc team has scored 169 goals in all of their outdoor games, my bet is the scorer has accounted for well over 90% of them.. you may discount her because of her blinding speed but she does create shots even with 2-3 defenders on her and does finish a very high percentage of them .. show us a player around here that is better at what she does or has more upside.

Sorry if I question that more than 152 out of 169 goals over 2 1/2 years are due to 1 player, seems a tad bit disingenous to the remainder of the team to me. You're the one dissing the remainder of the team. I understand that NEFC wants to become a significant player, and that's fine, good for them, I wish them luck, I get it, but rest assured that the Stars are going to make a real strong play for her

You are wrong. What does the Stars team in this age group really offer? They probably have the weakest roster of the contenders which means that in order for them to get there they will have to turn over a big chunk of their roster to get there. Then no matter how you slice it, the ECNL is going to take the biggest slice out of your wallet. Finally, they don't have Hamblin as a coach. There isn't another coach in the age group who has the recruiting juice that he has. Other than name recognition, they don't have a whole lot on their side of the ledger card to suggest the slam dunk you suggest.

The only thing I disagree with is your statement about CH having more connections, "recruiting juice", than any other coach in the group. JD has great connections as does DS. I would say the three are all equal in that catagory. Please do not get me wrong, CH has great connections and does a nice job with this team.
