Based on the recent Thanksgiving tournaments:

1. Stars ECNL - No one close. The class of New England.

2. Scorpions ECNL - The best of the rest. Should get better as they gel. By Spring could push Stars

3. Bolts - Did well in NEWSS. This team seems to get better each year.

4. Stars West - Did not do well in the top bracket at NEWSS but were clearly misplaced. Can't see them doing much better than 4th or 5th in MA, but they could implode and do much worse.

5. Renegades - Underwhelming at the MPS tournament. Holding their own. Still struggle to score.

6. Explosion - Top players all defected. Got smoked at NEWSS. Picked up some new talent but not nearly as good as what left.

7. Aztecs - Well coached. Good defensive team. Will surprise. Would not be shocking if they ended up higher.

8. Stars United - new team. Wide range of talent. Hard to handicap. Could be a top 4 team by the Spring, could competely break apart.

9. NEFC - Wide range of talent. Well coached team.

NR - Western United - will they even field a team ?

Seems reasonable. Hard to really rate these teams now with so many roster changes and so few games played.

Stars 15s has a good team , good coach, good experience.

Explosion and Western suffered big losses.

Scorpion 15s had quite a change from last spring. 0-1 loss to Stars in the semi. Additions of three National pool players, a new GK, new coach, what look to be some other addition by subtractions to the roster. The team has some injuries but still won all three MPS Tournament games without conceding a goal.

Renegades seem to still be a work in progress.

I like what Bolts are doing.

Stars United will surpprise alot of these teams ranked above them. They beat the Stars West team earlier this fall and beat the winner of the U15 Elite flight(2nd division) from the NEWSS tourney at a tournament in Bethesda a few weeks earlier. Their first ever tourney as a team.

Yes I would agree, We clearly know that Stars top team is in its own class. The rest are up in the air. Saw most of the teams play and I would have to say. The spring should be interesting.
We'll all have to wait until the april or may to really know where each team stands.

Aztec and bolts played a scrimmage prior to thanksgiving, 1-1 tie, fairly even match, aztec hit post a few times. Wouldnt read much into it other than to say most teams outside of stars top team are probably fairly even, though am curious to see if scorps have taken a leap to become a clear number two. Judging by some comments, it sounds that they have.

No, its a completely new team. The top Stars team from last year (United) became ECNL. The second team from last year (Athletic) became the Stars 4th team in this age group. Through try-outs and recruiting, the Stars got enough players to fill the roster with almost exclusively new players for the Stars United U15. In addition, Stars West U15 was added, which are mostly girls from last years Western United team. So Stars lists 4 teams in this age group.

The U18 Rovers were a Bolts team that moved en masse to the Stars at U15.

So Stars United lost the other two but beat the East Meadow Sparks. East Meadow goes 3 and out one weekend and the next weekend they win their bracket. Go figure.

Losing to Parkville and the PA Classics is nothing to be ashamed of.

Did United have any guest players from ECNL or Stars West in Bethesda ?

ECNL players don't guest anywhere and this West thing is a joke pure and simple who wants them. Their claim to fame is now being a Stars team but in name only anyone see them play?
The key word is play the game of soccer not make excuses.
