Anyone catch this game on Fox the other night. 6th division team tieing a top level team. Last 20 minutes were very exciting....

watched the whole thing. loved the david vs goliath story-line.
disappointed FCUM's player could not hold his composure and was sent off.
i was dismayed at the full tackle that resulted in the PK.
but i literally jumped off the couch when the pk was stopped (my son's a keeper so i love stops) and they held on for the replay.
hope FCUM win the replay and draw ManU at OT.
what a thrill for this side. don't given them any hope that day but i would watch it for sure.

Agreed - the red for retaliation was really stupid. Especially since it was a few minutes delayed. And the foul in the box was totally unnecessary as the striker was not likely to get a good scoring bid out of it. The GK save on the PK was fantastic. He read it correctly and took a great angle to the ball. At first I thought that it wasn't a great shot but on replay he put it in the corner and the keeper simply made a brilliant save. Nothing better than seeing an underdog flumox the experts. I thought the forward Norton for FCUM was pretty good.

Gutsy call for the official but the replay clearly showed that he got the call right.

I totally agree that the CR got it right.
my dismay was for the defender making the terribly stupid tackle, not the ref's call.
i should have been clearer.
sorry for the confusion. :)

it was an awesome save though :D.
