    Lancaster Tick Alert

Be on the alert for ticks. One of our players who spent some time chasing balls into the woods behind the net discovered a tick when he got home last night. MYSA needs to put up a fence or netting to keep balls out of the tick infested woods.

A great idea to put up nets behind all goals. And how about those short fences behind fields 4 & 5? Lots of jumping this weekend all around.

All ticks are required to wear PFD's this weekend.

Ticks go dormant during the summer months, but become active again in the fall. I've been pulling lots off the dog this week.

The question is, can the Ticks slow down the Stars U13's today? I bet not

Lots of insects this weekend but the fields were in remarkably good shape.

Yeah, I heard those pesky little orange ones were all over the place. They were very annoying but didn't have any sting!
