Why do people do this? Its idiotic. Is it because you think your dog will enjoy being around a crowd or do you think your dog really likes soccer? I had some dog trying to shove his nose in my crotch about 3 times during a half and the nitwit owner thinks its funny. I wanted to smash the muzzle of the thing and give it a quick boot in the arse. That is, I would've if I didn't blame the moronic owner instead of the dog. Leave your dog home you dopes.

Cujo you may well like dogs more than soccer parents but most of the crap coming from the parents aren't left in tightly coiled piles where my children play. Leave the dog at home

Dogs should be left home. A lot of fields say No Dogs Allowed but no one enforces it. And a lot of people do not clean up after the dogs. Take them to a Dog Park not the Soccer Field.

"Why bring a dog to a soccer game?"
Is it because it's an outside activity? Or is it because the family prefers not to leave the dog alone in the house, and being outside is nice?

I love dogs, but I am always amazed by the mindless entitlement of those who blatantly ignore the NO DOGS ALLOWED signs, believe they are immune or beyond the rule, and/or who believe their $2500 dog simply is too irresistible to leave home... like everyone would be cheated if they didn't get to see their incredible dog.

Not to mention league rules specifically prohibit dogs being brought to the field. Its always the same "my dog is nice" then he bites some two year olds face off. Leave the mangy fleabags home. You only bring them because you feel guilty about leaving them in a cage 50 hours a week while you are at work. If this is you get a plant instead.

If you feel guilty about leaving your dog home, then don't go to the game or exercise him/her before you leave for the game. I love dogs, we have two, but we don't bring them to soccer games.

No surprise here! I am, however, left with a most disturbing visual of Cujo sticking his nose where it doesn't belong while telling the other dogs not to worry because he is smarter than everyone else.
