She was a very solid player........but very overrated.........I am happy to see the publicity hungry and no achieving W-H coach lose again..................He has had 2 Mewis girls and a Petta and has never won!!!!!!!! Great coach!!! -
Criticize the coach if you want, but don't say the player is overrated. That's ridiculous. I have seen her play many times on the club level. She is a great player and certainly one of the top 10 in the state this year. She has been pushed by her Dad and his connections since she was 12. She has had nothing but great exposure to all the advantages available to a select few.Comment

The idea she is great because she played after making a college commitment a year ago is a joke. Of course she would play! She is like the other thousands of high school athletes nationwide who play high school sports after committing to a college. Let's not overpraise her for a normal decision. My daughter graduated last year after a good high school career. She was not a superstar but she did a few things the "great one " didn't do. She won a title and has a ring for it......and she played college this year also.............winners win; losers talk!! Keep the chat going Dave! She will never win a title because she was spoiled at a young age. No one can ever forget her meltdowns after losses before. She seems like a nice young lady who has been mistreated by her egotistical father.Comment

If her father is egotistical then I know some fathers who are astronomically egotistical...some of the most clinically narcissistic characters I've ever seen in my life, and I'm not talking about SL or W-H. SM is as great a player as has ever been produced in this region. Her work ethic is great and her skill is awesome. Often times great players look less great playing high school. My kid does. My kid is a starter for her team but not a mega stud on h.s. because the game is not played the same.
