Close to 100 kids playing, an order of magnitude more than D1 for 2011. A lot of changes in the lineups; not sure why? Could be a number of reasons. There are probably dozens more I've missed. I'll stop for now.

Will be interesting to see if most of the above list is still playing this senior year. Likely % is high.

A big Senior year ahead for these players. As always though, only about 10 MA players play a lot in Div 1 soccer.
Good luck to the above for senior year.

OP here. I thought I would have a look at an apple to apple comparison of the 2011 class to the 2014 class for D1 recruits. The 2011 class is reputedly the smallest where the last two years seem largest. Using my rules for that day, the 2011 class had 7 true players:

              TM - BC
              MDiF - BC
              CDN - UCinn
              TB - PC
              CB - UNH
              BA - UVM
              MK - UMass

4 others were 2010 PG's and one DMM, was a CA based MA ISL player.

The class of 2014 list starts with 45 names:

11 players are going to UML, which was not D1 then (not sure they are now either)
              3 more are upperclass transfers
2 more are ISL kids from out of state/country

So the number drops to 29, still much more than 2011. Not sure I found all the PG's in the class of 2014. My analysis of the large 2013 class is that not many more played much, leading me to think that the majority of the increase are in depth players for the D1 teams. I look for forward to checking on 2013/4 in the next several weeks.

                TM - BC
                MDiF - BC
                CDN - UCinn
                TB - PC
                CB - UNH
                BA - UVM
                MK - UMass

I think you are missing a few names from the 2011 D1 list, if I am understanding your post correctly. I can think of two right away that are not listed. FM-Drexel, HC-NU

The answer is simple. Every year DAP players do not play high school every year you will see more freshman playing more.

I agree with FM which would make it 8. HC of NU was a 2010 CM graduate. He is getting an extra year at NU due to injuries.

I wouldn't call the former Bolts and Seacoast forwards "foreign players." They are freshmen and they are starting.

The rest are foreign ...read the box score, seacoast kid looks like real deal, rest of dap on bench or moved to SD.

My question is what happened to DD, one of the best MA players around. Not on the roster.

You are "foreign" because you don't have a kid in the game at D1. Go back to the D3/HS thread.

DAP bashers just cant stop, even when DAP is over
