The point is actually playing college soccer (getting significant minutes) whether D1, D2 or D3 is much harder/difficult than most players and parents can even comprehend before college pre-season starts. Make your college destination for the right reasons....the college, not just the soccer team.

great point....And parent should realize that when they pick a club team or chose to go DAP and give up on HS soccer, I know of a few kids that did not dedicate to soccer only and played two sports, soccer and Lax and half play Lax in college....you never know as a freshman what will be you best sport as a junior or senior.....or what a college is looking for...best advice is to like the school you are going to.

Will be interesting to see how many of this class (whether D1, D2 or D3) will still be playing this coming fall (junior year).
Since you nudged it I'll comment on the rising D1 Juniors.
FM/PC Just transferred there from Drexel. CS didn't take him not to play him.
CD/BC Another transfer from Cinc. EK needs an experienced forward in the post CR era to go with Nana and the rest. Should play.
MK/UMass A key starter for them
TB/PC Another key starter.
CB/Iona Should play a lot
AB/Sacred Heart Should play a lot
CB/UNH Should play a little
Then I have two transfers.
JK/PC RS Soph, but double rostered on the 2010 list. Really a 2010 kid. I'll leave him there. Should play.
JM/Bucknell Did a PG year, but all who follow these lists would consider him a 2010, as those are the kids he played with. Will play a little, and I'll move him to the 2010's next time.
About 4 or so who dropped off the roster last time.
Fairly small list of 7 kids still playing here. GL to them. I'll be curious to see how the 2013 mega-list makes out this year.
HM/5/5/5/4/1 UML
MK/6/6/6/0/0 UMass
AB/6/6/6/0/0 SH
CD/5/4/4/2/0 BC
FM/6/6/5/0/1 PC
TB/6/6/5/0/0 PC
JM/5/5/4/0/0 UML
EDS/5/4/2/0/0 UML
CB/5/3/2/0/0 Iona
So to summarize, those playing/starting a lot by year
2010 9 (will add a few from UML)
2011 9
2013 11
That's about what MA can produce each year. Plan accordingly.
Do you not count DM-M (NMH '11, Bolts) as he was born in CA? Think you have to add KS (bC played some) and MA Bryant (played lots, scored)...
Thank you though, quite interesting to see actual facts! Rare on this site
You're welcome, and yes I excluded him because of where he lists his home town. I will acknowledge that my helper this year has liberalized the 2013 list with MA ISL players with home towns outside MA and the USA. I have no removed them from my list. DMM is a great player, near the top of this list.
No problem, again thanks for the effort - and I don't mean to quibble about a difference between 2011 criteria vs 2013, I was just curious about it. Also I think that I misspoke, MA is actually a '12 and you do have him counted there. (This would be easier with names IMO but I understand you are following the site rules).
