Bolts lost against Blazers again in the Needham tournament, so this shows a consistent trend.
In addition I don't think the U12 team is ready for 11v11 at this point, so yes, they can play anyone in Maple, but I disagree with your saying they can beat any of the teams, especially in Blue.
I have to give credit to their coach, however, who is really good and improved the team by a lot during spring, and have no doubt that with practice he will accomplish the team's goals.
I think I see some of the issues...at least regarding the Needham tournament. The Bolts had two U11 teams. See below website:

    http://www.gotsport.com/events/resul...ex=Boys&Age=11
In the first bracket the Bolts lost to ACA in finals
In the second bracket the Bolts lost to Blazers in finals...

two Bolts teams were entered into the U11 Divisions

As for the past Spring, although they did lose to the Blazers during the season, the Bolts U11 team did make the semifinals in the Irwin Cup...

Certainly the U12B first team in Fall 2010 was an excellent season. The second team also did well.
I think I can confidently say that this team can play in the U12B First division of MAPLE

That's an odd statement, since according to the Spring 2010 U11 Blue stats they were .267 with a GD of -13 versus teams currently playing U12 Blue. Frankly, the overall strength and parity in U12 Blue this season is a poor backdrop to highlight the supposed advantages of NEP, especially in the context of this particular Bolts team. I agree with the other poster about the coaching though and wish this team the best, let's just try and stick to the facts please.

0.267 is not as descriptive as 2-3-2. The former is better when it is a W/L and no tie scenario. The came in 4th place (of 8) in league play of Blue Division.
          Semifinals in Andre Cup
          Finals in Needham Tournament.

From these results, how do you come up with the idea that they are not able to play with their respective Division 1 MAPLE teams???

For whatever reason NEP U12 is still 8v8 and we have indeed seen a lot of U11 8v8 great players struggling this year in the larger field. Of course, I would agree that it is a matter of time and practice but by no means the U12 Bolts can be ready at this point. They'll eventually get there.

This is a perfect example of why MAPLE has it all wrong and why the Bolts will leave MAPLE
Really cuz I have seen both their U13 and U14 rosters for the Fall and their are no players playing up.

                Look harder:
JD is a U13 player on the 1996 PreAcademy team. In fact JD is a national pool player.
NA is a U13 player on the U14 team
NG is a U12 player on the U13 team.
There are 2 other U13 on the U14 team.

These are the ones that I know of There may be more.

in boys u-12 blue---benfica finished 5th, blazers got a narrow tie break for 6th (1goalbetter than galway) and aztec and stars were below on GD so why would blazers or benfica go down.....unfortunatley for us; galway, stars and aztec seem to be the hard luck demotions....all played hard and well

Try to get the facts right:
U14 Going down without a fight: Scorpions, NEFC (second team), and Bayside
U14 Playoff Bolts vs Stars (second team)

If you will follow the message thread, you will see that the teams listed were posted 4 days ago (2 days prior to the last games of the year). They were predictions. The poster must not have expected Bolts to tie Bayside, or Hammer to beat NEFC (2nd team).

                        bolts U13

What will become of this team?
                        MAPLE Division II or NEP?
For either, will they lose players or assist the coaching staff??

I don't think that these parents are paying top dollar to play in division II
