Not quite, two of the keepers big saves off of breakaways should have been called off. AR's was out of position by 15 yards on both and were hussleing to get back, player in the first attack and her teammate in the seccond attack were offsides by 3-5 yards, not even close, but the AR's didn't have the speed to match the game.

Frankly for all of the talking of the greatest show on turf, this game was a let down, I saw players who had the ball stripped (more than once) from them sit on the ground waiting for a foul. Then when MX kicked the ball out due to a player being "down hurt" (feelings were the only thing), BBN took the throw in and went on the attack. I have not a seen a classless act like that in some time.

Score was tied 1-1 at the end of the first half, the BBN goal was off of a ball that was palyed back to the MX keeper that she handled.

And the "sloppy field", are you for real? It has rained for three days, and was raining this morning, are you expecting a hard pack field? The field condition was slick, but sloppy implies mud and there was none of that on the field, we all would love our lawns to be as nice as that field was today.

Why did they not use the field turf? Greatest show on turf?? What are you talking about...does'nt Middlesex suck? SM's 2 goals and an assist brings her to 35 and 10 on the year w 1 game left...Jamie Gilbert from Brook's had 34 for a high...you got sizzled! bacon!

this happened in BBNs prior game also, the coaches must be just as classless as the players

Congatulations to the BB&N players and parents for winning the ISL...good luck in the playoffs.

No need for a tiebreaker ( which would not apply anyway ).

Nobles had 2 league losses; BBN has none and only 1 game left.

( not a BBN supporter--- just reporting facts )

In the second attack, was the teammate involved in the play ? If not, she was passively offside and the AR would have been correct to keep the flag down.

Duh...... yes, when run in front of the player with the ball and you are behind the second to last defender, that means that you are in the play, not taking your self out of the play as she should have. She might not have had the ball, but she impacted the play.

Classless? I'll tell you what classless is, pathetic defenders who stick their leg out everytime they are beat and trip the opponent instead of just playing soccer. Then their delusional wannabe parents put down the players and coaches they don't even know. That would be you above poster!

Just saw in the paper Rivers beat Nobles 2-0. Our daughter's team played both teams and would not have thought Rivers would win, much less score 2 goals and shut out Nobles. I was very impressed with Nobles overall talent, especially in the midfield and goalkeeping. Any game reports?

What are all you BB+N crazies gonna write about once your superstar heads off to play for the Bacon College frying cracklings next year?

no tie breakers in isl, right?

Rivers superstar defenders are back from injury = shutout.

I am "Bacon Troll" original...I have posted alot; I will start a Bacon BC thread...do you really think much is gonna change? At least she will have less of a chance of getting hurt playing with better talent...and Amen! to whoever responded to that ignoramus talking about BB&N being classless!!?? Bacon has been hammered, tripped, elbowed pushed grabbed and more EVERY GAME...nuff said! BB&N won the ISL; no one expected anything...she has a chance at 50 freaking goals getting marked and hacked every game in arguably the most competitive school girl soccer league in NE! with 35 goals, she would be #1 in the MIAA in goals scored w one game left; having played 15 games to date! for perspective, the Nantuckett player w 34 goals played 18 reg. d=season games in Div 3, where SM wud probably have 70...the highest single season total congrats Bacon! Great season...great season BB&N! Good luck in the play-offs...in the words of Ryan Seacreast: Bacon Troll out! I'm out till Bacon starts "sizzlin' in the ACC..good year ..i enjoyed annoying many!

No need to disparage the Nantucket kid, who shares the ball with 2 other teammates listed in the Globe top 10 with at least 1 regular season game to add to their respective totals. We all agree Bacon is clearly an other-worldly player from an alternative, crispier, tastier universe. She will continue to sizzle at BC. We will continue to applaud her fry-high, ACC exploits. Just share the porcine press spotlight. Others deserve their day in the hot fat as well.
