Good Teams Developing in U11G

I have seen this team play a few times and agree with the premise to some degree. They have some good talent up front but are terrible in the back. They desperately are in need of a talent influx. Add a couple of defenders and a goalie to this team and they could compete with anyone. If that doesn't happen I can see parents getting frustrated and moving on.

We played them in the fall, and saw really no weaknesses. Their goalie stopped several of our kids shots and seemed technically solid. I agree their forwards were unbelieveable but their defenders were very strong. This was the best team we played all season and was our only loss. Fairly abnoxious parents but that is par for the course in Maple.

Typical SSS parent..."incredibly talanted" whatever! Dominated every game they ever played...your out of your mind! Not a bad club but the parents are what give you a bad name. If something is posted about SSS positive or negative some SSS parent is on here in seconds to boast or dispute

Please. This entire thread has been dominated by NEFC parents (and every other thread). I guess if you tell yourself this enough, you will start to believe your own bull. SSS not blameless admittedly but stop the bull.

Wow!! A couple of beat downs today. Everyone expected the SSS U10s to get pounded, but the other Stars team kicked some serious butt too!! Looks like NEFC and PASA played a tough one. NH Classics knocked Scorpions off their perch, but it did not affect Scorps' standing.

Most teams in playin games play bottom of blue or green teams. So questions are;

Whose team got caught in tough division in fall?
Who recruited talent from other teams in the winter?
Who actually improved the talent on their fall team with out additions/subtractions?

North Shore did so-so in spring season of green... They should be playin team, but not anybody above that.

Lost to all top teams in Green, Western, Hamlets, Benefica how will they fare against top of blue teams. They gave up 13 goals in 6 games, and struggled in 2nd half of games.

Like many teams at this age group, it all depends on who has played town, lacrosse and basketball prior to the Round Robin weekend. Some girls play game in morning in Lancaster, then run to a lacrosse game, then run back for the afternoon game vs Stars JD team.
