Check U11G green for reporting. They are usually done my mid afternoon Sunday.

Yes, they have been really good. Not sure how the whole score posting process works.

I have to agree, the U 11 green coordinator is the best so far.. I email scores, and honestly they are posted in minutes..
I only wish I was reporting all wins!!

I think it is funny that there are Purple division parents/coaches thinking their is a chance for them in the Andre cup. Seriously, start a U-11 purple division thread.

I am the parent of a U11G who will be seriously competing in Andre cup and my child is not in Purple! The thread was about good teams developing in U11 G and not exclusive to Blue teams. I know, I started this thread. I think it is great that someone besides a SSS, Scorp or NEFC parent or coach writes on the thread.

Anyone know who won the NH Classics / Stars C game that was scheduled for Tuesday night?

Don't forget stars parents or coaches since every other page there is a reference to them being the class of this group. My daughter plays in this age group. There is a lot of talent not just at the top but spread throughout. I have seen some very talented kids with very good ball skills on what might be considered second tier teams. I am also amazed at the size of some of these kids. Scorpions have a few that are very tall and athletic. Same with NH classics, western, fuller and many more. With the exception of Stars and NEFC BB(which is not playing at this age level anymore) anyone can be beaten by anyone else IMO. This is my second time through this age group and I don't remember my older daughter having as much talent playing for or against. There are coaches and trainers out there that are obviously doing their job.

                    Week 7 predictions

Scorpions over NH classics 3-1. Tough loss to stars c I think the slide continues. Scorpions bounce back from a poor game last week that they were lucky to get a draw. Get healthy and secure third place.

NEFC over PASA 2-1. NEFC always seems to play close games. PASA hangs tough but not enough offense. NEFC finishes second overall

Stars D over SSS 5-0. Party over for surprisingly tough team. SSS probably should have beaten NH classic, scorpions and PASA. They also had no business tying NEFC. There will be no ambiguity this week. Stars assert their dominance and finish a perfect spring.

Stars C over Crusaders 3-1. Stars keep rolling after beating NH classics and beat an offensively challenged crusaders team. With the win stars move up to fourth place

                    Projected spring finish

Stars D. The class of this division all spring and never really challenged

NEFC. up and down season much better team. Only loss was to top team but a couple of disappointing ties. Overall considering some adversity a very good showing

Scorpions. Only two losses were to the teams above them. Off game last week but will be a difficult draw in the tournament

Stars C. I have stars winning their last game vaulting them into the top 4. Good comeback from some bad losses.

SSS /PASA. These teams should finish with identical point totals so depending on tie breaker will determine 5th or sixth. Both will escape play down games with their top six finish.

NH classics. With NEFC BB skipping the Andre cup in favor of the Irwin cup classics could escape the play down game scenario. Don't see them going far however the only team they beat is last place crusaders.

Crusaders. Played most everyone tight don't understand the blowout loss to Classics. May win the play down game but just not enough offense to compete.

                    Once again jmo
Good luck and good health on Sunday too all.

Take a look at PASA from the fall 9-0.. plenty of offense.. Against NB's team they shine and with 4 goals, too much for NB's girls to handle. 4-3 Pasa

Changes finish order with NB coming in 3rd, finishing a good season without their coach on the sideline for 3 games.

Did you look at who they played? The fall of U11 is a joke. It's not a knock on PASA, but putting stock in the fall U11 season is crazy. I'd say their scores from the spring are a better indicator of the team's strength when compared to the top teams in the state.

The teams that finished first in their respective divisions had these totals:

                        42 scored, 11 against +31
                        38 scored, 8 against +30
                        85 scored, 9 against +76
                        63 scored, 5 against +58
                        58 scored, 7 against +51
                        68 scored, 3 against +65

Yes this is true teams were weaker, but not asking them to score 85 goals.. They needed to adjust to the better teams, but they still have a good team with the ability to score.

Let see what happens Sunday, NB team may dominate

If you look at NB vs NH classics 2-1
NB vs Crusaders 2-2 (only scored 6 goals and in last place)
                            NB vs SSS 2-2
                            total 5 pts

                            PASA vs. SSS 3-3
PASA vs. Crusaders 1-0 win not a tie
PASA vs. NH Classics 4-1 (last week)
                            total 7pts
Seems that pasa got a slow start, then got blasted by Stars JD 6-0,
then lost close one to Scorp KD 1-0, before they started getting some momentum.

                            Should be a good game.

So do 2 from green get a pass on play in games because NEFC BB is not competeing or 7 from blue? I think Fuller and a few other green teams can compete in Blue with no problem...just IMO. How many will move up to Blue for the fall and how many get relegated from Blue?

10 teams will play in the Blue division in the fall 2011. The blue division is determined by the results of the Andre Cup, I think.

The problem is that the top 3 current blue teams and Stars C will not be playing in Maple this coming fall. As well as the Western United (Green Leader) and Aztecs (Navy Leader) teams. This will take all the top talent out of the league but it will still be pretty competitive with SSS, PASA, NH Classics, Crusaders, Fuller Hamlets, Benifica, and Bayside. These teams are all pretty even. The U10 SSS team will not be as strong as this year’s team if they break up the U10 and U9 next year. They have 3 talented U9 players on this team. Two of them are very talented and are a difference maker this year.

Good luck to everybody this weekend.
