Not as many as the Stars who should easily beat Nefc NB again. Stars win 5-1 over Nefc and Scorps 3-0 over Nefc. Enjoy the win this weekend it might be the last one for a couple of weeks. Jmo everybody is entitledComment

Some insight based on my experience watching some of these teams play at the Scorpion Bowl and NEFC tournaments. I have also refereed all 3 of these teams in the fall and at these tournaments.
Games can go either way at this age, just look at some of the scores from this spring and pre-season tournaments. It is all subject to who can finish that day. I watch more between the end lines than the final score. I would say the Stars and Scorpions are a better team in this area but the game is about whom can finish on any given day. The Stars have a more complete team than any current team in the blue division. They have good full-time keeper, strong fast big backs, very good midfielders and a few dangerous forwards. The Scorpions have a keeper by committee, very strong fast backs, ok midfielders and in my opinion two dangerous forwards. Both teams have lost to NEFC BB by less than 2 goals and Scorpions were beating them at half 1-0 when they played in the fall. They keeper by committee let them down from what I heard from both NEFC and Scorpion parents. They both said NEFC controlled most of the game (60/40) but Scorpions played well. The Stars game was a bit more back and forth but NEFC BB ended up winning in the end by finishing their chances. I am not taking anything away from NEFC NB team but not having your coach for 3 games and 2 against quality teams can be hard, ask FM about this last year in the Irwin cup against Pioneers. They might play hard in the absence of their coach and they might role over a die, who knows. They are a very good team but will fall short due to playing into these two teams strengths, their backs. Direct style soccer does not work very well against these teams, not saying it won’t when they play but teams that play this style have not done well against these teams.

Scorpions game will not be that close 4 or 5 to 0. As for Nefc and Crusaders the rain may wash this out. The scheduled field drains very poorly. If the game is played I think crusaders will keep it close. Regardless I'm sure NEFC will have something to complain about, the ref, the field, the opponent, the weather or that fact that NB wasn't there. That's one prediction I'm confident about.Comment

Crusaders are not going to rollover against Nefc. I see this game as a toss up. I'm picking Crusaders to win 3-2
Scorpions will easily beat Pasa 4-1
Classics over SSS 3-1. Big physical team too much for u10s
