Looking forward to seeing the match-up results from the BB vs FH

I also agree that the orange division is strong but in a side by side...

NB NEFC team in Orange NOT as strong as BB NEFC team in White
JD Stars team in Orange a little stronger - than FH Team in White
WU Team (A team) in Orange - Scorpions (KD) team in White

Top Three in Each are Solid with good coaching and some talented athletes.

In both divisions there is a drop off after that.....

Good assessment! I do think the top 3 in Orange are pretty close and not quite as strong as BB NEFC but I also think all 3 are a little stronger than Scorps (KD) and FH. Not to exclude any teams from other divisions because there are a few that are very talented, but for the sake of the post from the 2 divisions I would say it goes like this.

      1. BB NEFC best in U11.
      2. JD Stars plays well a small edge in orange
      3. WU plays well anywhere from 2-5
      4. NB Good team and I think could be anywhere from 2-5
      5. (KD) Scorps anywhere from 4-6
      6. Fuller H anywhere from 4-6.

All very strong teams and all well coached. Some interesting difference in styles as well. Who knows how it will translate to 11v11 but look forward to it none the less.

      Good luck to all!

Why don't the Pioneers get any consideration here? They were a very good U10 team last year.

Probably because their record will look very different from how it is now after they play the four teams ahead of them in the standings (and because their coach and most of their team from last year are now with WU).

Could it be the mediocre record thus far? Trouble scoring? Tough division? Yes to all.

Sure they made 6 last week vs. bottom dwelling Liverpool, but that can't be considered sufficient evidence of a breakout. Pioneers toughest games in Orange are certainly still to come; NEFC N, Stars D, Western.

            Likely final record... 3-4-2

I don't understand the love for KD's Scorpions team. During the Labor Day tournament, the got smacked by Stars Athletic and lost to Scorpions West as well.

I don't think they are very good, sorry.

Okay that makes sense. Didn't know they weren't the same team. Just figured they had a chance against the top 3 in orange.

You must be new to the forum. This place is full of Scorpions staff and parents pumping up their own teams.

KD Under 11 team lost in FINALS at Stars Labor day tournament in PK's to Scorpions West team.. Defensively they are solid, and they can score

Since Labor day Scorpions West team has failed to score but a couple of goals while giving up a bunch. Then they got beat up at CFC Columbus day tournament in a tough bracket, while Katie's team went 5-0, Scored 24 goals, and only gave up 3..

KD team also played BB NEFC team and lost 3-1, still a lose but better than anyone else who has faced them this fall. So they are in the discussion....

If KD team had keeper from Scorpion West then they would be very tough to beat..

Not a scorpion parent, coach or player.. thanks

How good are the MPS teams at this age group?

I just spilled coffee all over my keyboard on reading that gem! Late candidate for post of the year.

From what I have seen not bad! Not top 5 Maple.

I also laughed. Will be a scrap team for NEFC and Select.

Lost to Scorps west in the final of the 2nd division at Stars...they very well could be a few players short of being tough to beat but so are most of the 2nd division bound teams
