All this happened more than a year ago. Let's hope Bolts have managed to turn things around.

Results last season suggest not but turning things around when the slide had progressed so far for the entire girls program was always going to be difficult. It affects recruiting and also results in a drain of talent away from the club to better programs. Right now halting the slump would be a major achievement, never mind turning it around.

The U15 rostered with JD's U18 team is entering sophmore year, graduating in 2012.

Why didn't she play for JD's U16 team. They could have used her in the SC finals!

Wouldn't the showcase opportunities have been better on a U16 team than a U18 team this year?

Do you really think a kid like that isn't going to get noticed regardless of college showcase tournaments? Whatever makes her happy you should support it, as having her with the club is huge. The question of what best serves her interests is best decided by her and her family.

True but it is surprising that a U16 was playing up two years when the U16s had two national team players. I don't have any idea who the player is but is she that much better than the NT players in the Stars stable?

I don't know much, but I do know there is a young NT player. Not our place to compare to other NT players and what she or the other players want to do is their business. I would expect any club to support them. Forcing an issue might give incentive to play with the 16s that won the SC - now wouldn't that be a strong team?

No one claimed this kid was better than national team players, just as no one proclaimed her the next Freddy Adu-like phenom. Perhaps JD didn't want to upset the balance on his other teams. Perhaps his U18 team was short-handed and this kid filled a role. Perhaps her role was already filled on the other squads. Perhaps she was ineffective, didn't play much, and will be playing elsewhere next year. Unless you or your child is on this team, why even care? Isn't this a Bolts thread anyway?

If by "post" you mean on the website, don't hold your breath. Look at some of the girls team pages. Many don't have rosters from last year and a one hase game scores from 3 years ago.

How many kids are playing up THREE years for a top tier club? I have never seen the kid play but you would have to expect that the kid must be a phenom.
