needham tournament schedule out yet?

does anyone know if the needham tournament schedule has been posted yet? the website doesn't have it yet, but is there any way it's been released and is just not on there?

It's always last minute at Needham. It'll probably get finished a couple of days in advance. Don't sweat it.

Not familiar with a lot of teams in the showcase divisions. Are these town teams?

Most are pretty well known clubs, but not currently in the top tier. Should still present some good soccer over Memorial Day.

What leagues do U17 Reading United, Berkshire Ajax and Waltham Youth Soccer play in?

The best girls teams U15 and up are at PDA.

Memorial Day tournaments are not typically competitve because the teams are spread out all over. Have you seen the number of MD tournaments listed locally, never mind regionally? All billed as "the best" and "College Showcase". Very tough to attract the better teams to one tournament.Some teams will also just use these tournaments to prepare for State cup. They aren't neccesarily attending to win, but to work on "things" prior to the high pressure State cup.

Fair enough but if it's a "showcase" and the field is very weak, why would coaches show up?

Great question. Some schools listed as attending the Needham tournament, are also listed under Delta's "showcase" tournament.
