The parents of these kids care, Just because your kid has grown and moved on, I care what happens in this age group because these kids will feed your program for years to come. and I think they pay the same rate as the U14's 15's and 16's

So you want a handicapped breakdown of randomly placed U11s? OK, I'll go out on a limb and predict that the Stars, NEFC, Scorpians, WU and Aztecs will have some real strong teams. NEFC will also have a really poor development team or two. There will also be a couple of darkhorses who will emerge, maybe Pioneers, JSSA, SSS, Liverpool, Blackwatch, AC Milan, North Shore ... someone like that. Crystal ball also says that NEFC will not put 5 teams into Blue in the spring.

My son plays U-13~

The point is that U-11 is strictly developmental as is U-12 and, arguably, U-13 - though it's not treated that way. Standings, rankings, "handicapped breakdowns" (rofl), have no real value when you're talking about children who are just beginning to learn to play the game from both a skill level and tactical perspective. You should be emphasizing their development as players - instead, all you can focus on who is who beat who, what the margin of victory was, who's likely to advance to Blue division in the spring and what bracket your child's team will play in the Irwin Cup (forget what U-11 equivalent is called).

You're crazy... I feel badly for these kids. Has it really come to this? No one cares blah blah blah....A little perspective please...I love the fact that the parents are so passionate about their kids and teams. So much of the comments here are so nasty and I am not sure how the heck we lost our perspective on youth sports. I am as intense as they come but can certainly stop when it degenerates into bad attitudes and name calling. Remember, they ALL work hard and are trying to develop their skills for the love of the game not for the parents entertainment...Wow.
