Do you all really have nothing better to do then talk about things you weren't apart of? DC didn't even coach the game where they beat abbey villa 19 - 0. The following week when he returned and the game was similar against AC Milan he finished the first half and played the entire second half with only 5 or 6 field players with the other team still having 8. So you can say all you want for both coaches it is very difficult to coach these games, it is a MAPLE problem for these younger ages. The club's are flat out stealing money from the families on these teams that couldn't even beat a town team. Maybe the parents of these kids need a reality check of where their son/daughter really are as a player right now and invest their time and money somewhere else. Prove yourself within your town program or invest in individual training then try and make the jump into club. Parent's need to stop obsessing over the status of their kid being a "club" player when the reality is they don't have the ability at this current time. Wouldn't you rather earn your way rather than just paying your way? Also, pretty interesting how nobody really responded to the post of Vikings beating the same team 18-0.

Why is the Blue U11 division so coveted? Not sure I understand. Thank you

So glad to help. Some may have thought you were just a troll looking for trouble. Obviously they would be wrong.

                  Seriously???

Blue is the top division. You get your team in blue, then you can attract better players then the ones that got you there.

So Blue is all about attracting new talent...nothing to do with seeding for the various U11 and U12 Kohl and Andres Cup? Thank you

We could argue about the lopsided scores for eternity and what the coaches should have or have not done.
However, I find it more interesting about what the parents do in response. Not the complaining about why a club team ran up the scores, but why you are paying any significant amount of money (? > 1000 dollars) for you child to play on a team that will go no where. Unless you feel that the coaching and training is excellent, you should either get the kid to a better team if you think the kid has talent, or just play in-town if you don't think the kid is going to be a superstar. You might as well save yourself 10-20K and apply it toward other areas that will have a greater positive impact on your child's development

Maple U10 is developmental (no scores recorded), As of fall U11, Maple relegation begins. The U11 teams are sorted into groups of (around)10 by geographic area. Yhey are assigned random color designations, and they play seven games. At the end of the fall season, the top ranked team in each of the divisions are put into the Maple Blue D. Maple Blue is the top division in Maple until U13, at which point Blue is officially called Div. 1. In U11 & U12, Green is Div. 2, and then I'm just not sure. As of U13, there is Div. 1, Div. 2 & Div.3 (which used to be called Maple D). Within Div. 3, there continue to be some color codes (Div. 3 Blue, Div. 3 red).

One minor correction: they play nine games in the fall, not seven. They play seven in the spring (not including Andre/Irwin/State Cup games).

Oops -- thanks for the correction! And I thought fall U11 just felt really long.

Our kids been working and trainning very hard with that coach you refer to for a long time and i owe it to that coach for giving his owen time to train these kids and i think you and your coachs should do the same if you want to be at that level
