    jerk offs

Well, we now know the jerks in the u11 girls division. JD's stars team must feel good after beating the Hamlets 16-0. Good luck to all teams having to face the next World Cup champs.

It is good to be him, isn't it? His explanation, as it runs through his organization, if you can't play with us you shouldn't be in the league.

Don't worry. They will meet their match some day. There is always a better team out there.

The subject started me thinking about more coaches than JD as jerk-offs. A thrashing like that is all part of it. The kids are over it, but it takes a lot longer for the parents. It means nothing just move on. Everyone knows that the Stars don't have a mercy rule, so what get over it and move on. How about other jerk-off coaches? I have seen worst things than this.

          Get used to it

Big clubs, Stars, NEFC, etc are going to try to stamp out the competition one way or another. Look out Mom & Pops!

            Here we go........

can't have feelings hurt. Can't have a winner because that means there's a loser. Can't have cuts because all kids should get to participate. Can't have captains because that means others are left out.

This is ALL driven by the parents. The kids were over it before they hit the parking lot. But the parents will remain bitter for weeks.

Memo to you parents: It's not about you. Stop acting like it is.

The kids show plenty of class, too bad the coach can't

Kids do remember being pasted this way. They will remember it for a long time. I did not see the game, but any coach with any class would also not just stop scoring. In some ways that is more insulting than running up the score.

Did the coach have the kids making extra touches and passes before scoring? Did the starting forwards play the whole game up front? It depends, the kids also know when a team is giving up and not scoring when they easily can. If the starting forwards did stay and play up front, than the coach did his whole team a dis-service. At U11-12 opportunities like this should be used to get your defenders time up front and your Offense should learn how to better play defense. This is a learning opportunity for a team, a real coaching moment (very long one at that). Answer all of these questions and you can make a better arguement.

GU10R - NEFC (F) 14 / Galway Rovers (M) 0. Ref suggested Galway put an extra player on field. Didn't help. Coach had players pass back to keeper, than move it around the field. I think he did all he could not to embarress the opponent, but you can't stop the kids from scoring. It could have easily exceeded 20 goals. It's not an easy thing to do when your opponent cannot compete.

What's better? Being scored against or having a team play keep away? Those are your options. Either way, it doesn't feel good for either team. This isn't the fault of the team (coaches or players), it is the fault of Maple for allowing a clearly inferior team to be placed in the wrong division. I can't imagine that every game in the division is going to end up that way.

U11 Fall Maple is brutal. Always has been, always will be. Relegation will sort things out come spring, but then begins the clawing to stay in/get into "Blue".

We are in NEP now. Whew. Nice to be out of that pressure cooker.

Is that score real? If so, that coach is absolutely out of control and should not be coaching. He must think he's something else. Sorry, there's no justifying that score. This coach is everything wrong with youth sports. Obvously it was a mismatch and for him to not recognize that and adjust like any good coach with any moral fiber would have is disgusting. I would never let my child play for such a bad role model. Get some perspective buddy or get off the field. You really are a jerk! Did you need the points that bad? Unbelievable and truly pathetic.

HAHA!!! hopefully now you know his name!!!! Look it up and see how succesfull the guy is and look at his club!! state cups, national title says it all!!

Also we all pay good money to play in these divisions, MAPLE should be offering a better service by keeping the "oh it is easy" CLubs out of the system! I love how we don't see the mercy rule in premier baseball or hockey!!! This sport will only get bigger if you promote a winning attitude like we do in every other sport. If you do not want this then please play travel soccer and enjoy it. This is premier soccer for players that want to win and yes they do forget about losing quicker than the sore loser parents.

I say well done JD and lets see less crap teams / coaches!!!!
