Posters in online forums like to imagine they are dispensing pearls of wisdom to somebody, but that illusion will be hard to maintain in that brave new world of well-informed equals. Few will read FSM’s cut-and-paste jobs, just as registered posters largely ignored them on the Touchline. Cujo actually liked this forum because he could pose as a Big Man here, but on the new one he’ll have to mind his manners at the Big Table.
On the other hand, given the crude puerilities that have recently appeared on this forum, I can’t blame people for leaving. Ultimately this is a failure of regulation: the moderators have been asleep at the switch.
So there you have it: no nourishment here, no air there! :)

The pompous "I'm leaving the forum" attitude may be what posters are responding to. Just leave and take your expert postings and attitudes with you, and do not come back to visit.

What amuses me is the same adult who keeps trying to convince everyone that one forum (this one) is better then the other. Who cares? Other than yourself? If you want to read what's posted in the other forum register. If you don't, then don't register. Your opinion certainly hasn't stopped others from registering and posting.
Sorry dork. all those registering on FSM forum still read this forum, and most of them do not post on FSM, but post here.

I do not think so. I am from Florida and I am reading these posts and editing them where I think it is warranted. Show me a thread that there are names used etc. and I will delete or edit. It is really easy, just contact me. I am on this forum all the time now.
I work two jobs and can only read in the early morning or at night, but I do read the threads.
I do not make any money from this forum, only provide a free forum for you to place your thoughts, gripes and any information that you think the soccer community might be interested in.
This forum is not going to become "registered", because I believe that being able to post anonymously adds to the free-wheeling forum that this is. It makes my job harder, but also allows more parents to feel free to posts their thoughts without an attachment to a club, team or name attached to them.
If you want to go to another forum, then go, like I said, I do not get any money for providing this forum, rather I spend. The Florida forum has become the largest in the state and is difficult to moderate because of the number of posts. Most forumites know the rules and usually abide by them. It is popular because it is a combination of information, gossip, ranting, raving, and people who have kept long girls threads for years running. It is up to you to decide where to post.

The ingratitude in amazing. This site provides an open forum at no charge to anyone who wants to use it. Now you come on and blame the Admin and Moderators for the low quality and childish postings that have become the mainstay of the people participating. Where does personal responsibility come in to play. The forum is as good as the People who are willing to participate. The Mods should only be needed in very rare cases and bear NO responsibility for the direction this forum has taken.
So grow-up and stop making excuses for your behavior and post something interesting and worthy of discussion. You have no one to blame but yourself.

Theres really know way to know who's who under registered names either unless you register under your name like Fred. Club associations are the same.
Admin has stated that the forum is what it is, no excuses....the other forum is what it is, no excuses there either. Make a choice or do both.
