It appears that the Pioneers are struggling with numbers in trying to field a second U14G team. Is the best course to field a team with a mixed bag of players, many who should be playing recreationally and not competitively, or to abandon the idea of having a second team and making up for the shortfall in revenue elsewhere? When you start adding additional tryouts in the hopes of creating extra teams you begin scraping the bottom of the proverbial barrel.

Dont waste your money.
Play in the pvjsl where most of these u14-u15 girls should be playing.Unless your daughter is very gifted then you have CT, Stars west or travel east for better clubs. That can actually perform well in quality tournaments.

U-14 soccer

You must be talking about the other team for the Junnior Pioneers, the team who was in the state cup. Read the posting below posted on 6/7

"The crusaders are out due to a missed offsides call on the Fuller/Pioneer game which gave the Pioneers a 1-0 win. Fuller was not pressing much in the second half. They had their reserve keeper in who looked tired on the field in the first half. The Pioneers were on a full assault over the last 10 minutes. Still, they only got through after a blown offsides call. NEFC should destroy the Pioneers in two weeks.
Most of the teams in the age group were terribly disappointed that the Pioneers team made it in...NASTY group of parents who are raising kids who are dirty and mouthy to the refs. It's painful to play them as they have NO class. Hopefully NEFC will beat them 10-0... "

Money is what is driving the Jr. Pioneers now. The more kids who play, the more who pay. The Pioneer organization is using their youth club to support their faltering club. It's too bad too because some of their A teams are quite talented, but any club with the philosophy of you pay, you play is only hurting themselves.

Politics
We've been with other clubs, but the politics at this club are through the roof. Board member perks, nepotism... one thing said another done. DOC not well liked or respected. Puppet for clueless/non professional board members who could not manage their way out of wet paper bag. The motto at the club seems to be "take care of me and mine everone else pay on time". But, my daughter likes her coach so we'll stay as long as she wants to play there.

It's too bad
They have a very nice stadium and alot of fields, just seems they are more interested in the money than the soccer and putting together a real top notch program.

Actually no! Fuller Parent Here, I'm talking about their second team. Nasty kids, parents, etc. One player had two yellows for yelling at the ref, another had a yellow card for yelling at the ref with the play on the other side of the field. Both teams are nasty, their second team however is the worst. Must be something in the water.

Junior Pioneers
Talk about Politics. Go check out the first team (U-14). Chairman's daughter made it to that team. Barely a town B player. What were those coaches thinking?

In case you did not hear. Pioneers DOC was fired. He was not even allowed to coach his little U10 team in their final game. Pioneers are joke of a club.
