Accident, coincidence or something else? Stars U17, U18 and Scorps U17 all have 2 wins, but each have given up a goal. That puts both Stars teams behind PDA and Scorps behind Syosset. Could they all want an early departure from WVa?

Stars 16s gave up a goal to, but remain in 1st because CFC gave up 2.

If the ECNL teams actually advanced to Nationals, what would their schedules look like with R1 Championships, ECNL Championships and USYSA Nationals?

          Hell, their schedules would look like hell. Can you spell O V E R K I L L? And their parent's wallets would be E M P T Y, completely empty.

I don't particularly like the USYSA regional web site. I'd prefer the type of tournament web site that GS provides where you can check the schedule and results of individual teams.

Wasn't NEFC suppose to have a GU19 team at the Regionals?

That is surprising considering how many teams they drew from to get a team together for state cup.

Not surprising at all. You do realize there were only 3 teams that actually played in the state cup, don't you? U19's are a tough age group to get together.

                    Boys

Four Mass boys teams still have a good shot at semifinals:
                    NEFC U13: 2 wins
                    North Shore U14: 2 wins
                    Blazers U16: 1 win and 1 tie
                    Stars U17: 2 wins

                    Three teams are essentially out:
                    NEFC U15
                    Blazer U18
                    Expos U19

This could be better than last year.
I don't think any boys teams made it to semifinals in 2009

U13 - automatically advanced to semis regardless of Sunday outcome
U14 - need to win on Sunday to advance
U17 - need to tie or win to advance

1st Tie Breaker is head to head and PDA has it over the U-14g Stars team they beat today.

U-14G Come home after tomorrow ...

and why do the U-13G advance, they have 1 win and 1 loss ? If they win tomorrow, they advance, a tie or a loss and they go home to from what I see... Am I reading this wrong ?

Also, if Blazers U16B win or tie, they advance. However, Penn Celtic is a very good team.
