All you need to do is watch a EPL or other top league game on Sat AM and then watch a MLS game Sat PM. MLS games often look more like u14 games than European matches. Sometimes it is unwatchable.

Which is part of the reason they don't get air time, or more than a sentence or two after the sportscaster has exhausted every other topic.

Another question is to what extent the other major league sports work to prevent loss of their viewing public to soccer. Even if MLS was worth watching, I'd expect MLB, NFL, NBA would work hard to keep it from gaining market share.

The MLS is nothing to write home about but the EPL? It has devolved into a league where the GK's punt the ball 85 yards in the air to each other. Oh yeah and a few broken legs here and there from illegal tackles.

So is Spainish League the only one worth watching?

Outside of 4 maybe 5 teams, the rest of the league is terrible. At least in the EPL there are maybe 10 teams worth watching

Why are MLS players so bad? Watching 10 minutes of the Crew vs. Fire was excruciating. So many bad touches, hospital balls etc - every ball failed to connect - looked like ping pong. The highlight before I switched channels was Hejduk's beautiful header past his own goalie. You'd think the guy was pushed or in a crowd - but no, just an poor decision and very bad technique. How can these guys do this for a living (?) and be so bad at it?
