Better job is not the word. It really doesn't take more than 5 minutes to get the site updated but look who you are dealing with. MYSA, think of it this way. Your site will actually get more hits if you updated it in a more timely fashion, therefore giving you a greater opportunity to get more people to give you more money (coaching courses, camps, clinics) than if you rely on the 1980's-1990's white board method.

Don't you want people interested in the State Cup? Aren't all fans voyeurs? It amazes me in this age of technology that a huge, well funded (by those who participate in Mass Youth Soccer) organization can't update their website.

We all realize that running a tournament of this size is complicated and posting scores is not the first priority. However, one could expect that they could be posted in a fairly reasonable time frame.

P.S. It would also take away the draw and influence of the very website you are disparaging. People want the information, provide it to them and they wont't come to the boards for the information.

I was at the games. I know the scores. I am simply stating facts. I am not whining but merely pointing out the incompetence of our governing body.

They have a monopoly and therefore do not have any incentive to please their customers (all of Mass Youth Soccer). When minor tournaments have embraced the ability to update the participants with scores, I find it embarassing that the MA State Cup cannot handle the same.

The technology exists, it is inexpensive, and is being utilized at every major and minor tournmament around. However, our STATE CUP, utilizes the trusty WHITE BOARD. Embarassing.

I am incredulous that you would applaud this. Why is sharing of basic information considered such a burden? Why so confrontational? Post the facts (scores) and let it go.

The above poster is correct. What are they spending all of our money on? How many paid employees work for MYSA? Shouldn't one of them take a little pride in their job and post the scores to the web site? While we are at it the web site is kind of lame.

Stars over Blazers 3-0

Blazers over NE Aztec 5-0
NEFC-K over NE Aztec
NEFC-K tied Stars

NEFC-B and Bolts both advance.....they play each other tomorrow
Unless the Stars lose tomorrow to NE Aztec (Unlikely) then they advance
NEFC-K play Blazers. Blazers have to WIN to advance. Anything else and the NEFC-K team will advance and the Blazers will have to wait until U14 season to chase their championship

A mere 30 miles from where your little state cup is taking place, children the same age as are playing are being shot and killed execution style by gang members. Some parents are burying their state cup aged children, and you whine and complain because you have to wait several hours longer than you unrealistically think you should to see the score of a soccer game posted on a web site.

Your attitude actually makes me sick. If you were human and capable of feeling any emotion at all, you would be embarrassed.

You are classless, selfish, and shallow. You don't have the firest clue what real life is about. You sit in your suburban sprawl, drive your giant SUV, and bitch about really insignificant and meaningless issues such as youth soccer game scores not being posted. Meanwhile, there are parents dealing with their 10 year old daughter who was hot in retaliation, there are parents whose kids will die in drunk driving accidents on their way home from a prom, parents whose kids come home in body bags from Afghanistan, and parents who have to deal with their kids getting paralyzed after hitting the boards in an awkward manner. You don't have the class or humility to stop your whinjng for one second and even contemplate what this must be like, and give thanks that your biggest concern is that Mass Youth Soccer waits 3 hours after a soccer game finishes to post a score on a web site.
