Western in second place in north and heading to playoffs in Kirkwood. Blazers in 7th. Bruno (MA or RI?) is still playing for top four automatic berth

Blazers and Western one and two in North and heading to playoffs

BU18-
Blazers second in North and heading to playoffs. Juventus third

GU14-
Stars second in North and heading to playoffs. Scorpions fourth with an automatic berth for next year

GU15-
Stars United in first place in the North and heading to playoffs in Kirkwood. Scorpions and Stars rovers in top four with automatic berth for next year. With a win today, Scorpions can come in second and qualify for the playoffs

GU16-
Stars in top four and have secured an automatic berth for next year

GU17-
With a win over SSSelect today, Stars will take second in the North and qualify for playoffs. SSSelect is out of top four no matter what happens with the game.

That would appear to be the case, but I thought the first tie break was most wins, which would put the NJ team in 4th.

Actually, according to Rule 106 Sec 2 b, Head to head is first, followed by most wins:

b. In the event of a tie within a division, the following criteria shall be used to determine the winner.
1. Head to head
2. Most wins
3. Fewest goals allowed
4. Most goals scored
5. Fewest Red Cards
6. Coin toss

In this case, head/head looks to have been a nil-nil tie (4/12). It would look like Copa Forza's 3-3-1 would have the edge over Bolts' 2-1-4, although the Bolts have a decided advantage in Goals Allowed (5 vs 11; 5 ties for second-lowest in the Division). So go figure!

Wins & losses are one thing, but apart from the two 3-0 wins, the rest of the games looked highly competitive. 4 ties and a 1-0 loss. Isn't that why teams play in the Region 1 Premier League?

The top four teams in the north get an automatic berth next year. That was what the discussion was about. Whether SSS won or lost that game they would not get an automatic berth in premier league next year.

State Cup is entirely different and nothing was said about that. Be insulted all you want, but there was nothing other than facts there.

Winning state cup also does not get you an automatic berth. Win state cup and go on to be a regional semifinalist and you will earn an automatic berth.

Oh we are so sorry to bother you with this dribble. It sounds like you have so much experience and are so far above us ROADIES. Get a life will you. If those 2 teams are the only one's who have a chance of winning state cup at u17 then is that their fault? Some are so happy to poke fun or bash others. No one was talking about state cup. This is not the state cup thread; this thread is about region one league. I'm glad you've been to more state cups and regional competitions than anyone else. Go educate people on that thread rather than assume anyone is talking about it on this thread. I have no ONE in this race so accusing SS or Stars of being arrogant is just baseless and ridiculous.

You might want to heave that huge chip off your shoulder before June as it will certainly identify you at the round robin.
