I think the poster may be referring to the present top BU13 team. I believe that when the clubs merged, the top players on the former Puma & Eagles top teams (finalists in last year's Paul Irwin Cup) were combined to create the new team which is leading in D1.

Thanks. That makes more sense. Quality new teams are created all the time through mergers.

I just saw PM U12's play and I think they will become a force in the near future. Some outstanding players and some so-so, but as whole not too shabby

No doubt about it with the superb coaching they will get in the coming years.

The blanket statements both pro and con some of you are making are pretty ridiculous. At the risk of being categorized as a loathsome parent you do need to give some credit where credit is due but there is no reason to think the club is the answer for every soccer player in the state. Chris Hamlin for example, has a couple of pretty good teams. His U12 team is out in front of the blue division and can be considered ONE of the stronger teams in the age bracket. Though by no means a finished product it does look like he has a pretty solid base to build upon. Whether it goes on to be a perenial state and regional level champion remains to be seen. In addition, his U15 team will be playing for the NERL championship so it appears that there is something going right there as well. As a parent with a kid on one of these teams, I think it is fair to be proud of what the kids and coaches are accomplishing but there is no need to get carried away and anoint the club as the one true soccer club in the state. That said, they are doing enough right that they shouldn't be mistaken as a failure either. After all is said and done pick the soccer team based on fit for your kid rather than what the club as a whole is doing.

BTDT + Coach M = super potent duo

                    Awesome!
