But seriously, folks, what are the U16 D1 boys' teams doing this winter, preparing for spring MAPLE season? I know Eagles are attending to Score at the Shore in Tampa -- what about any other teams?

Oh my goodness, what is your obsession about these teams? How many times are you going to ask this question? Inter is doing a new experimental program with soccer-water polo. Crusaders are doing heavy weight training and pilates. Stars and Western are doing the SubRegional Academy.
I think he means what are these teams do out of the norm? Maybe tournaments, scrimmages?

BTW, everyone thinks you should do stand-up.

You'll have to let us know what you think of that tournament. It is still called "Score at the Shore", but the founder has moved on and taken most of the boy's tournament teams with him. The list of coaches attending that tournament supports this. I think the new tournament is called 11v11 Tournament and is held in Jacksonville (which is where most of the top boy's teams will be.) Good Luck to the Eagles!

Score at the Shore. Are the Eagles going to win that? Are they playing any good teams? My friend on the team said that they will the tournament as the other teams that they are playing are all weak? Go Eagles!

Most of the games in our bracket we should win by scores of anywhere from 4-5 nil. The one team JBS will probably be a 3-0 win, Orlando 8-0, Waza 5-0, and Sunrise 3-0. Then in the Semis we will defeat Michigan 5-0 and in the final Wellington will be a 1-0 championship win. Eagles all the way!

If those will indeed be the scores, you are going to the wrong tournament.

It's amazing that school age kids are posting on this forum in the middle of the day about their team, isn't it?

If you're not actually being facetious, the team is a small to medium sized fish swimming in a really tiny pond. Make that a large puddle. Traveling 1200 miles to do so. Should make you feel extremely proud of your awesome accomplishment to be so challenged as soccer players and as a team. At least it will be warm and (possibly) sunny.

How was the Eagles practice today? Can you please describe, perhaps in the form of a poem, a few of today's practice highlights? Injury report?

Also, is it true that the Eagles have a new corner kick play that is just sick, as my kid would say? I heard a rumor that it is based on the old picket fence play used at the end of the championship game in Hoosiers.

Is it true that the Eagles U16 team went to Bermuda for preseason training instead of the Revs???

This is true. It's called the Amy Winehouse.
