Gag. Scorpion propaganda machine at work... do you really expect us to believe this is an honest inquiry? Anyway I bet Fred would be the first to give credit where credit is due, and that is to the soccer dad in this family (with real life experience!!!! not like most of the parents on this board!!!). Even Fred will admit he is not THAT great a coach to have "produced" these players. (or maybe not).
Dear Guest,
I have nothing to do with the Scorpion program. But Thanks for jumping all over me and my honest question.

Your post shows that you really have absolutely zero understanding of how great athletes are developed. It is never one thing. It is always a combination of factors and influences that vary in proportion from athlete to athlete. That being said, there are still a number of common elements and key factors that exist in the "creation" of an athlete. In no particular order I believe they are:
1) Genetics, 2) Parental support, 3) Dedication and Drive on the part of the Athlete, 4) Positive Participation in a Team environment and Training System, 5) The presence of positive Athletic Role models during training that create a learning atmosphere that allows the player to develop technical and tactical skills, and superior physical and mental fitness that allows them to compete at the highest level, 6) Progressive exposure to competition adjunct to the previous 5 factors at the appropriate age.
Scorpions (and by extension Fred) are a key element in numbers 3 through 6.
The point is that this discussion belongs in the thread about the 2 sisters, not under a "Kudos to Fred Marks" thread. I mean, really.
And no one said, Cujo, that there isn't a combination of factors that produces great athletes, including but not limited to the ones you listed. One would have to be a moron not to understand that.
