On the topic of U13 girls from which this forum has digressed, I would suggest watching closely during this spring season. Regardless of whether scorpions or stars comes out on top, this is one of the most talented age groups to come along in a while. If you have been involved in girls soccer over the years you know that this spring season is typically the quantum leap for youth girls both mentally and physically. One or both of these teams will be a regional champion sometime in the next 3-5 years and perhaps go on to win nationals.

You think this group is better than the Stars/Scorpions U15s? Why?

That was not aimed at the Scorpions 13s - just amazement that anyone would predict such a thing of any team at U13. There are so many things that have to go right to even make it to a regional championship - BUT predicting a national championship that's just - well - kinda stupid.

Nothing was said against the stars. The person just made the comment that he thinks the scorpions are stronger. This is america and people have a right to have an opinion without being a troll. So, don't get all worked up about nothing.

National Championship what an idiot, neither of these 2 teams will be anywhere near to winning a National Championship at any age group.

Of course you are.

Its not a Scorpion parent. There isnt anyone that crazy that I can think of in the group. Plus, I think most of our U13 parents saw Dallas Sting at CASL and we know we arent in their league... and they are only #13 in the country (check out the So. California Blues record on gotsoccer.com, 10 tournaments, 10 Championships).

Scorpion 13s are a bunch of great kids who are very good players but we arent in the Regional or National mix. We are just one of a number of good teams in this state.
