Not sure if both went to Stars, I think one went to NE Eagles.

Well, then Fuller will have some openings. Maybe some players out on other D1 teams that don't get playing time or players from top D2 teams should put out some feelers. They didn't have much production from their forwards if you look on the maple website. Fuller must be looking for strikers. What position did the players play that left?

Strange. If you check the fall season Fuller only scored like six goals all season. They were second to last place for goals scored. Maybe the players are mid-fielders or defenders?

Now the comments about being relegated to a lower division in the Jumping Club section make sense. As U12's FH played in Blue division under a different coach finishing in the upper half. New coach takes over as U13s and they finish near the bottom getting relegated to D2. Parents bail despite the fact that all their games were either ties or 1 goal wins or losses.

This is not the only age group at Fuller this winter that has had players jump. There is obviously something wrong.

Didn't someone post recently that the forwards in the Hamlet system aren't usually the scorers, that they play the ball back to the midfield to score?
Yes let the bigger girls who can hoof it the furthest score.

Really? So what do they do - use the two forwards wide to serve it back and or across the goal in front of on rushing midfielders?
Won't be too many offsides for them I guess.

I don't think the coach is the reason that the ship is sinking. He seem to be a good coach. Like someone else said they tied or lost the games by one. So, why leave? They have the state cup in the spring and more then likely would be the top team in D2. Back in D1 in the fall. Maybe they will get some good players from other teams that are not happy with their playing time.

I'll be up front. I've had my issues with the Hamlets over the years, but if what I am hearing is true, this is not good for girls soccer in Central Mass. There has been a ton of talented girls that have played for the Hamlets over the years, so anyone who suggests there is not enough talent in Central Mass is dead wrong. IMO, not only is there the talent, but they have the potential to compete on equal footing to the Stars and the Scorpions under the right circumstance. There are some young coaches at the Hamlets that seem to be attempting to change the style of play and I think the only thing going against them may be their age.Good judgment comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgment.
