If they want to have college coaches endorsing this showcase, which is the objective, they have to get their act together. If I say I am with neither club, you will not believe me. I was there this past weekend and I am an assitant college coach.

The reality of a poorly organized tournament is that it results in a lot of extra time and effort on the part of team managers and coaches. Maybe not so much work for the local teams but absolutely more work for those teams that need to travel from out of state. When more effort is required by the teams, they are unlikely to return in subsequent years. Perhaps even worse for the organizers, word spreads quickly among the out-of-state programs.
So here we have it, a week before the tournament, no schedule, no definitive field locations, no hotels with more than one bed, no hotels in the Harvard area. Just showing up and playing the game, as one post mentioned, isn't a viable solution for those needing to travel. Let's be real - a bad schedule can be dealt with; having no schedule can't be dealt with.
