This talk about Explosion rivalling the Stars is nonsense. The Stars are almost universally larger and more athletic than Explosion. They are also technically sound (for 11-year olds) and they are capable of playing with a decent amount of discipline (again, for 11-year olds). But . . . they are 11 years old and inconsistency is rampant even with the best teams. That explains the Explosion result from last Fall.
So, you're saying that the Stars can only lose if they are "inconsistent"? They never lose because they are outplayed? You just set up a universal excuse for your team losing. Typical Stars ploy!
And, by the way, take a show of hands of the team and ask them how many are still 11 yrs old. I'll wager a guess that not many will raise their hands.

Where to begin . . . .
First, your ad hominem attack that this is a "typical Stars ploy" might mean something if I had anything to do with the Stars -- I do not, I never have and I never will. Whatever you may think of what I said it is most definitely not part of some Stars inspired strategy.
Second, I never said that the Stars are never outplayed. I am confident that scattered around the east coast and the rest of the country there are teams that have and will consistently outplay this Stars team.
Third, the 0-0 draw that Explosion doggedly secured last Fall simply underscores the point that the Stars had a real dip in what is their ability/performance level. Explosion probably played a courageous game and were collectively at the top of their game and all they could secure was a 0-0 result? I will predict that the next two meetings Explosion has with the Stars will not result in a draw much less an Explosion win.
Explosion is a very good team that is well coached and can hold its own at high levels in New England youth soccer. That does not change the simple fact -- the Stars are training/recruiting at and toward another, higher level of play.
Vipers over Fuller (Sat)
Stars over Vipers
Explosion over Puma
Fuller over Puma
WU over Inter
Scorps over Eagles
Looks like this was the best prediction from last week 5 of 6 correct - I'll take a stab at next week:
WU over Puma (Puma continues to plummit)
Stars tie Scorpians (defensive battle)
Explosion over Vipers (Better team wins)
Eagles over Explosion (2nd game let down, possibly a tie)
Fuller over Inter (Home field advantage)

Try WU tie with Puma (1-1)
Stars over scorpians easily (4-0 or 5-1)

Your ad nauseum approach of getting your point across is sickening, yet very structured. You must have been on the debate team. I bow (not too closely) to the "Master Debater". (inference intended!)

How about:
WU tie Puma (with advantage of play to WU)
Stars beat upon Scorpions (3-0)
Explosion beat Vipers (3-0)
Explosion tie Eagles (only due to 2nd game in day)
Fuller beat Inter (2-0)-and it has nothing to do with Home advantage
In Green:
Vikings over Sting 3-1
Berkshire ties with Greater Boston
Pioneers crush North Shore 3-0
Granite FC gets by Aztecs 2-1
any thoughts on Orange, Red or White...or do we really care...

I certainly can understand your being frustrated and maybe a little angry. After all its hard to argue your point when Explosion went 3-4-2 last Fall and lost to "lowly" teams like FC Puma. What I don't understand is the rage which would generate a response like this.
excuse me, but why stars over scorpions by several goals? Last couple of games, 1 goal win at Andre Cup, 1 goal win in season, and 2 goal win at Scorpion Bowl. The Scorpion bowl win was in a game that was probably as competitive as any game the two teams had played. Scorpions had a number of chances in that game, anybody who saw the game would have to agree. First Star goal went through Scorps GK hands, second was bad mistake by center back (ball went through legs), and Scorps were in stars end most of second half.
and why all the love for explosion? must be explosion parents. Explosion lost three games last season, in tournaments they've lost to eagles 4-2 and scorpions 6-0 all this year. Explosion drew with stars and scorpions last season but lost to WU 4-0. They are an okay team that will finish middle of blue. Scrappy yes, on the level of others, no.
It's Stars first in the division, then WU/Fuller/Scorpions, probably in that order but there may be a surprise.
As for games, stars over scorpions again, but 1-0, not more than that.
WU over Puma 2-0.
Explosion over Vipers 3-2
Explosion draw with Eagles 1-1
Explosion is a very good team that is well coached and can hold its own at high levels in New England youth soccer.
This is absurd. Explosion's record outside of New England is god awful. In tournaments outside of Mass, they do terribly. More evidence that draws with Stars/Scorpions were flukes, their record points to mediocrity.

Sorry, no rage. Just having a little fun at your expense!
(Is that you CM? Your writing style is very distinguishable!)
I actually agree with your assessment of that orange team.
