Blackwatch started in MASC at U11 and didn't join MAPLE until last fall, so they started in the bottom color. They killed everyone, it is highly unlikely that Kathy will move them all the way to Green, but not completely out of the realm of possibility. There will probably be five groups. Kathy uses her judgment, so Blackwatch could be in green, but the problem is that some teams might complain to her that they didn't earn the big jump. Because of that, there is no way she could move them all they way to Blue. Blackwatch is very good, and will more than likely qualify for MAPLE D1 as a result of this season and the Paul Irwin Cup. Because of their low standing, they will probably not make it to final and will probably lose to a Stars or Western United in one of the knockout stages. They do have one of the best players in the age group, and a good supporting cast.

Berkshire is a good team, they lost one goal games v Scorpions, Western, and Fuller Hamlets.

Because of all the shuffling that happened in the groups after last season, there are a lot of teams that are on the same level as Vipers, Eagles, and Inter, including Vikings, North Shore, Greater Boston from the other lower group, and Blackwatch and Rays from the lowest group.

Things won't make any sense until after the spring when teams are divisionalized. There could be quite the shakeup.
Blackwatch was put in the Orange Division ????? They will kill everyone again ?????

What difference does it make, they are going to win it all so its just pre season practice for this loaded team.
    Please explain ?

The u12 girls Blackwatch team is better than any team in Blue, they have played most teams in blue and beaten them, so I'm just telling you how it is.
Who have they beaten who was in Blue/Fall ?[/quote:2j62jqko]

    Western
    Inter
    Scorpians
    Exposion
    Fuller[/quote:2j62jqko]

When would they have had the opportunity to play all of these clubs? Did they play Stars as well?[/quote:2j62jqko]

At what tournament did Blackwatch beat the Scorpions or Western United?

I hope your not talking about indoor because that is the only time they played Western United and Western beat them both times....

On the other hand if we're talking about indoor tournaments more than a year ago, it isn't that impressive.

This team is the real deal, not the same deal as someone posted about a certain boys team, but they are up there.

                    Evidence?

It sounds like there are no tournaments or outdoor games to make that analysis.

The only evidence right now is the opinion(s) of the coaches who have scrimmaged against this Black Watch team or watched them and some of their play. From reading other posts, it sounds like they certainly have some dangerous players who could cause problems for even the best U12 teams.

I'm not saying that the teams they will be playing in the spring are not good teams who do not have good players. However, there combined record this fall (not counting RI Rays) was 14-31-9. If they do well or close to what they did to teams in the fall, I'm still not sure what you make of that.

Blackwatch has never beaten the Scorpions. They are nowhere near Stars. I don't think the poster who says they've beaten Western/Scorpions has ever seen any of these teams play.

As one other poster said, the only time these teams have played one another was a 6v6 indoor tournament. Winners or losers of those things don't translate at all, but even then, Blackwatch lost to Scorpions and Western at that tournament.

They could never beat Western, its an ODP all Star team.
