    Scorpion bowl U-11G

I think some of the best u-11 soccer i have seen , competition in each level was fairly even few blowouts but rest of games were close. All the finals were good close scoring games , a lot of talent seen at this age level

i think many parents - including myself - are amazed at the higher level of play at these tournaments at this age. The difference between your average town team - and teams which play in these tounaments - is huge at this age. Higher skill, possession play, etc. So I think your comment is well taken that there was some fine play (for their age). I think parents whose kids play higher level club soccer for a number of years (i.e. U14,15,16 etc) forget how advanced these girls/boys are when compared to the vast majority of their peers the same age.

IMO, parents with older (club) players do not forget how advanced these girls/boys are when compared to their peers at age. They were as impressed when theirs were U11. What they realize, that you may not yet, is that puberty changes everything. So while it's exciting to watch a quality U11 soccer game - especially when compared to your average town play - you cannot read into the future except to say there will be more high quality games down the road. Don't be surprised, however, if the faces on the field change as quickly as the cleat styles/colors.

fair point. And what you say probably has a lot of truth to it.

Yes it is mostly tru, however, pick out the best 3/4 players on good teams that usually stand out during a game, they will still be very good in 3 or 4 years. The vast majority will move up and down bu the best 3-4 will almost always be there later on (barring injury, quitting, etc.) .
