Saw on the site that the 2 Stars team met in the finals. Anyone know how it turned out and what the run of play was like?

Stars second team took half 3-0 and never looked back. The first team managed to get one goal in the second when the keeper wasn't able to hold onto the ball in the scrum the scrum, they were able to put it in the back of the net.

When it was over there was a lot of cheering from one end of the sideline and a lot of silence from the other.

Can someone PLEASE tell GC he is coaching the "B" team...That whole organization has been in denial about it for 2 years now.

Maybe we should change the United and Athletic names around ?

Really? If you compare the tournaments they get sent to, it is abundantly clear that there is an A & B team.

Hmm, obviously you do not know how the club works. The coach picks which tournaments they attend at the start of the year before tryouts that is how the contract fees are set as all fees for tournaments are included in the contract. Compare the tournaments? The athletics went to Bethesda and are going to PDA. The United went to Eclipse, Discovery and are going to PDA. I do not see that much of a difference really. Again stop trying to cause trouble when you know nothing.

The whole organization is not in denial. They know. No one rubs GC's nose in it because they don't want to deal with the drama. BR is pretty classy and the rest of the coaches just stay uot of GC's way or they'll find themselves on the end of a tantrum. How as it at the game?

Pretty impressive when one club has the best 2 teams in the state at the same age group. I would say Stars v Stars in the U13 state cup final in June. Keep the Kool-Aid coming I say
