Scorpion Bowl Invite - Division Level????

How in the heck does the Scorpion Bowl Board determine the level (Classic, Premiere, Elite) that a team is placed in?

I know of a 2009 State Cup Winner that has played competitively with the majority of Region 1 teams -- and has beaten a substantial number of them -- that was placed in the Classic Division.

What logic does it take to place a higher level team in the Classic Division where they will dominate?

Can anyone make sense of this for me????

I see you did not name the team, I am sure they are in the right group

State Cup winner from what state? It all depends on where they are from and what their rankings are. Northern NE state cup winners are not going to placed in top bracket anywhere. What age and state?

Nashua World Cup is a solid team. They do not play in many tournaments, but they are a good side, as good as most teams in the top group. I think that is what the original poster is referencing.

Let's all remember to circle back as see how it played out and how well they did.

OK so who have they played against? Give us some evidence why you think they are placed wrong

What age and gender? Hard to have a perspective and comment when we don;t know who you are talking about.

Heard the U14 Stars were playing in the U15 age group. That must have been what the email we recieved about them making all age groups equal was about. Meantime the JSSA u15 team who are d2 (and not bad) are in the lowest group. And the scorps club team are higher than them

First of all, they are NOT the Maine state champions. Second they are ranked no 6 in the state of Maine. Third, they have been in existance for one year. They are clearly not realistically in any group above the lowest one.

I think it is BW U14. Not sure why. Plenty of strength in the top U14 group.

Who wants to play the teams you play in league in a pre-league tournament.
