Usually it's all the blue division teams, then a certain percentage of the green division.
The final spots are determined by playoffs. You usually have to come in top of your division to qualify for a playoff.
This year there are 8 divisions, so I guess you could assume that if their are six other division champions that somehow they might not allow the lowest division a spot in the playoff. But we won't know for certain until around the beginning of May.
It's a virtual given that the blue division is in. That's 8.
That leaves 7 other divisions and 8 slots.
My guess is three bottom division first place teams will play the 3rd, 4th, and 5th division first place teams to have three teams qualify. So that's 11 teams qualified and seven slots left. Maybe top 7 green?
In any event, it will be interesting to see how they break it all down. What they should do is organize it as they do the U12 tournament. Give the top four blue guys a bye to avoid the lopsided scores that usually occur in the U11 tournament.
Not to sure if it all sounds fair for the all blue to get in, dont beleive NEFC should have 6 slots in there, some came out white division....maybe top 4 blue division teams, and open the feild.
Now that teams are competing as 8v8 instead of 11v11, I would think Maple will have to tweak the tournament, perhaps expanding the number of teams that can participate.
All from top page get in. Top 4 from 2nd page get in. Top 2 from third page. That leaves two spots for 5 pages. The teams that win those groups will somehow playoff against each other to determine the last two spots. There is more time to get this done this year because the first weekend of Andre Cup is a week later than usual. Remember the teams are grouped on merit so it would not in fact be fair for the top team from page 8 to get in over say a team at the bottom of blue. The teams earned their placement for the spring. Which in turn gives them the right to get into the tournament automatically. MAPLE will not change the rule because there are more pages.

It helps when the club owner is also a sitting MAPLE board member. NEFC is like the new soccer mafia.
