The quote pointing out that in an anonymous forum anyone can pose as anyone did come from an adult/parent on a Massachusetts team. Not sure what else you are attributing to it, but I heartily regret trying to point out the obvious now since it is being used against me or someone else at this point.

My bad. The quote I was referring to was the one you quoted, which sounded more like a parent or coach. I didn't mean to "use it against you," or anyone else. I was just reiterating what you said (while pointing out that the quotes from "players" were most likely not what they seemed to be, which you may have been saying as well). No offense meant!

I just heard about the Japanese team during a sideline chat, and then read this thread in its entirety. The impression this team made with their skills and style of play is pretty obvious when Ma parents of teams that didn't even face them are still discussing them almost a month later. Wish I had seen them play.

I am not too surprised hearing this, after watching some so-called premier U17 club team play. The skill level is pretty low. The girls are not getting the right technical training they deserve.
