How does your record tell people what type of team it is?

They are a winning team which is all that matters to most of these Clubs and almost all the parents. What a shame.

This coach is not committing any great crime. All of the teams in the blue division are looking to add impact players and some not nearly as straight forward as this. Realistically if teams of this ilk don't continually improve their rosters they won't be in the blue division for very long and may very well lose a significant portion of their players to other teams who did. That is the way the leveling in MAPLE and beyond effectively works. I think the more interesting question is whether or not this appeal was productive in finding that impact player he is looking for. The landscape changes pretty quickly at this age.

If you are a parent who has a daughter playing with the Aztecs, you've got to wonder: why is the DOC recruiting for just one impact player on just one team - a team, incidentally, that he coaches? This time of year, lots of girls are making the decision to play lacrosse (or softball, etc.) in the spring. Surely the other Aztec girl's team could use some assistance? Why not use the forum to recruit across age groups?

I would also wonder why the DOC didn't look to his own club where the 2nd U12 girl's team just moved into the blue division. Seems like there must be some talent there?
