Looks like Hamlets are not entering a team at this level, so the Stars got the spot they vacated. The Stars Athletic or C team is the same team that ended last season -3 with no wins and 3 ties. One of their top players got pulled up to the Rovers. A few others went to NEFC. And they are handed a spot in D1? I had heard that Stars had been told by the MAPLE powers that team was no way playing in D1 due to the fact that they ended last in the league and were auto relegated. What gives? Shouldn't Noreaster have gotten the spot as they were the highest ranked team in D2 that was not promoted already?
