I know that the PDL team Has taken a hiatus, but is it true that MPS has folded up shop with the W-League team? Too bad if it is true.

The Bradleys were tired of losing money if the team went to the playoffs. So rather than dilute the team which would be too obvious, they just folded entirely.

Can't imagine the presence of the Breakers helped matters much either.

Just noticed on the Aztec site they are fielding two teams in the WPSL next year, the Breakers minor league team and a U23 team for college players.

So where does this leave New England in terms of men's/women's "minor" league soccer teams? Revs & Breakers are obviously the "major" league teams.

The USL site is kind of a mess as far as teams go right now, esp at USL1 level with all the USL defections and the impending birth of the new NASL, but NE-based listed teams include: W. Mass Pioneers - USL2; NH Phantoms - PDL; RI Stingrays - PDL; Conn. Passion - W League; W. Mass Lady Pioneers - W League. Also has renegades still listed, but we know they are done. Are all the others still in operation?

NPSL has Boston Aztecs & Maine Sting listed. WPSL has Bay State Select, Boston Aztecs, Maine Tide, NE Mutiny and SoccerPlus CT. All these still active?

the simple fact is, in either major or minor teams cases, If people dont go out and support they too will go away

One of them should recruit Liz Lambert. That will put seats in the seats.
