Is there some way we can institute a minimum level of knowledge and intelligence before a person is allowed to post? Clearly, you haven't got a shred of a clue as to what is going on.....

Only three kids play for the Bolts (Two of which are currently DAP players). That means that of the 18 kids on the roster, FIFTEEN DO NOT PLAY FOR THE BOLTS. That's a far cry from the team "all Bolts".
Three of the kids play for the Revs DAP.
There are kids that play for Inter SC, Boston Blast (now with the Stars), and (shocking to some), a few players who don't even play club soccer.

St. George's - returning a couple of key players in the middle, but not sure how their defense will bounce back from defensive mvp departing
St. Sebastian's - look for them to be around the same as this year, dillon kerr is very good in the middle, a lot of average players who work hard
Middlesex - see them improving on last years mark with less ties
Groton - huge loss of stankwietz, but have more players that are ready to step up for next season
St. Mark's - see them improving, only losing 2 to graduation, lots of injuries during the season hurt them

Rivers has a middle school. Maybe the poster refers to 8th grade class that will be frosh next year.

What that person may have been trying to say is eight of them USED to play for Bolts, and probably is clueless enough to still classify them as so.

It will be a year for proving as much as improving for BBN. Big shoes to fill and lots of maturing is going to have to happen.

BB&N- Nugents gone, thank god for the rest of the league.
What is this suppose to mean? From what I saw when BBN has played my kids team in the past two years is an overly energetic GK who gets caught making bad decisions.

Thank God their entire Defense is gone.

The defense at BBN has been a strength the last 3 years, but Nugent has been a huge part of it. You may not agree with his style of play, but he seems held in high regard by other soccer people - #1 choice at BBN and Bolts DAP team, and is headed to Lehigh.

It is a strong group and should get better as they play together more. Hopefully there will be some new additions also.

im wondering why you are ignoring the top few teams in the league in your analysis. also some of them i see as very false. st sebastians is going back to its less than mediocrity. this year was an anomoly, nothing more. theyre graduating most of the talent thay had.
middlesex quit frankly was a poor offensive team held together by some very talented backs. those backs are mostly gone at this point, and even their keeper was suspect at times last year. they are takinga step down.

st sebastians is set to give up a whole lot of goals this year. graduating nearly the entire corps of backs and the starting keeper. their scoring will not be able to keep up

Looking at returning pieces from last year, my top four picks would be

                        Brooks
                        RL
                        St Marks
                        Groton

I think only their center backs graduated, not the outside guys.

Reasons for this besides returning players? other teams can add new recruits, that are better than returners. Brooks/RL/Groton are all losing their best players

At this point I would not underestimate them. BB&N has won or shared the ISL title three out of the last six years and racked up a NESCAC A title along with final and semi-final appearances during that time. They have done this with teams that at times have not, in my opinion, been as good on paper as other teams in the ISL. One cannot argue with the sucess they are having. I think there is less pressure for them to prove something next year than there is for some other teams in the league, who really haven't fulfilled expectations for a while.

It will be a rebuilding year for them but I will bet they play to at least a .500 record and will be contending again soon after that. Like it or not, they have built the most successfull program over recent memory.
