Allegheny plays in the NCAC which is a pretty tough D3 conference including Ohio Weslyan, Kenyon and Denison. Their schedule included 4-5 nationally ranked teams.

Eric Anderson (Babson College and went to Rivers) named All-Conference First Team also was chosen as the NEWMAC Rookie of the Year. Anderson led the team and ranked third in the NEWMAC both goals and points, amassing 13 goals and six assists for 32 points in 20 games. He also paced the Beavers and ranked second in the league with six game-winning goals this fall. Anderson is Babson's first Rookie of the Year selection since goalie Nick Todd in 1998.
