NEFC Success
After four months, the inaugural fall season for the newly formed NEFC has come to a close. The club enjoyed a great deal of success during the season and even made some MAPLE history along the way! The Maple season ended with NEFC going 127-84-40. There is not enough space to highlight all of our accomplishments over the past 4 months but we did want to highlight those teams that either went undefeated or won their Maple divisions.
The NEFC boys had a very strong start to the year. The overall MAPLE record for the U11-U14 boys finished at 45-30-15. Charlie Fuentes coached the U11 Devils (Metrowest) to an 8-1-0 record and a 1st place finish in their division. The Devils will play in the U11 Blue (top) division this spring. Christian Battaglia’s U13 boys ended their division 1 campaign at 9-0-0 and secured the top spot once again! This team will be looking to defend its 2009 state title this spring.
The NEFC girls came out strong at the start of the season, and that momentum never let up. The overall MAPLE record for U11-U14 girls ended up at 82-54-25, and four teams managed to finish the season undefeated!
For the first time in the history of MAPLE, one club will have 5 teams qualify for the top division!
The Gunners (South Shore), Pride (Metrowest), and Red Raiders (South Coast) combined for a record of 24-0-3. These teams all qualified for the U11 Blue division and they will be joined by both the U11 Vipers and U10 Arsenal teams from the South Shore.
The fourth fall section winner was the U13 Express (South Shore) who completed their season with a 9-0-0 record and a promotion into division 2. The Express will join the U13 Crusaders in D2 this spring. The Crusaders narrowly missed out on promotion to division 1, but had an excellent season nonetheless.
In addition to the club’s tremendous Maple results, NEFC also performed extremely well at various tournaments throughout the season. The complete list of semifinalists, finalists, and champions is included below. The NEFC coaching staff and Board of Directors would like to thank each and every club family for their support throughout the summer/fall season. Without the dedication of our parents and players, none of this would be possible!

None of coach R's core group left. The two players that I think people are referring to have switched Clubs more times than anyone on record. As far as being a phenomenon, you might want to check the history of this team before you post. I can't wait to see the big dogs ass get bitten.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostOn the Boys side, the answer is at least one and probably two. U17 and U13. Both teams greatly benefited from the merger, the U13 team also has a very talented and huge (probably over age) player who can completely dominate a game .
