I think the two big challenges will be keeping the second and third teams intact. Any player who belives he is good enough to play on the first team, but does not make it, will be inclined to tryout at another club in an effort to make their first team.This could lead to high turnover of players at this level.

Yep, this is the challenge for all the big clubs. Need to make the 2nd and 3rd team kids feel like they are getting first team attention. Lots of money in kids that aren't on first teams, even though this forum normally downgrades their achievements. Not everyone wants to play college soccer or believes they can be top teams. You can do well by doing good; the question is which club(s) recognize that?

Agreed. Heard rumors kids were already leaving a few of the second teams. It will be a challenge for them to keep them.

U17 Boys is a very strong team that should (stress should) win the State Cup and do well in Regionals.

You may be right, NEFC and Puma combined did not even score a goal on SFVikings. The Vikings went undefeated, won the division and only allowed 2 goals on the season. Sounds like you have more to back it up than anyone else could. We'll see in June.
