What is the DA and how does it work? Is it only for the older age kids? only boys? My kid is only U10 so should I care?

You should go and try-out for one of the NEFC teams!

Will be interesting to see but NEFC's formation was all a business decision.

Yep, this is the challenge for all the big clubs. Need to make the 2nd and 3rd team kids feel like they are getting first team attention. Lots of money in kids that aren't on first teams, even though this forum normally downgrades their achievements. Not everyone wants to play college soccer or believes they can be top teams. You can do well by doing good; the question is which club(s) recognize that?

Agreed. Heard rumors kids were already leaving a few of the second teams. It will be a challenge for them to keep them.

SF Vikings will win the BU-17 division this year, Because I have a crystal ball. They lost in the finals in PK's last year and drastically improved their team .

You may be right, NEFC and Puma combined did not even score a goal on SFVikings. The Vikings went undefeated, won the division and only allowed 2 goals on the season. Sounds like you have more to back it up than anyone else could. We'll see in June.

If you think that one player makes this team the best in the state in the Spring, you are worth as much as the crystal ball.

Yes, one player at any level can change the outcome of the game!

Anyone know why their U12/U13 director resigned from Worcester State? Saw it in the Herald today. Is he looking at a higher level for college?
