So they aren't doing what CASL does and just having group champions? MPS actually is declaring overall age champions in age groups with more than one bracket without having them play one another? I didn't see that anywhere on the tourney site. Aztec 17s clearly won the group they were in, which is probably why they posted that. I am affiliated with the club, but not that team so I'm not sure. And the 16s and 17s won their CASL groups - neither 16s won their groups at MPS, although I got a chance to see both and they both played well, as did the 18s and the other 17s. Didn't get a chance to see any of the boys games, but overall, regardless of club affiliation, I saw a lot of good soccer on display over the weekend. And, BTW, it was the Aztec 16s b-team that lost 2-1 to the NEFC 15s. Gee, I'm sure that is the first time than a younger group ever got beat an older group, right? And 2-1 clearly shows that the girls were thoroughly humiliated. This site is so full of haters, mostly of Stars, Scorpions, Bolts, MPS, NEFC, but Aztec gets it too, and the list goes on and on. Don't you people have anything better to do than bash one another? Oh, I forgot - that is pretty much what Web forums are for.Comment

Small item, but I think the final score of Sunday's Hamlets/MPS is incorrect. I believe the final score was 2-0 MPS. Is it possible for someone to confirm/deny this? I watched the game and saw only two go in for MPS. Thnx.Comment

You all need to get your information correct before you go on posting a bunch of crap. There were 2 Aztec u16 teams. The one the MPS parents have been dishing on is the top team, Ranked 4th or 5th, which ever you all prefer. They did not have a game against NEFC.
