Should State Cup games be televised?

Considering the appeal of the Little League World Series, I think its high time NESN or some other media outlet took a look at broadcasting some of the SC games. I bet it would draw some viewers, particularly if a camera or two were trained on the sideline parents. Could it be done ?

I doubt it could ever be done but I would say give it a try. The players would probably get a kick out of it and it would be fun to goof on crazy parents and coaches.

They could show SpongeBob reruns and Sqiudward doing plastic box foot$kills training next to the popcorn machine that he broke at Acton Indoor.

Actually video training is the biggest thing my daughter has missed out on in making her a better player. I learned which way to block, tackle, make moves that worked on linebackers etc. We did it on old school projectors Sunday nights after our Sat games. Also the coaches show the whole team what they saw good and bad. Boy did that replay clicker get a workout.

Video is still a helpful tool, but not that necessary in soccer training if the coach knows what he is doing. The same issues will be present in training scrimmages. The coach just needs to stop the action, demo the skill or tactic, have the player(s) rehearse the technique or tactic and then put it into play.

They televise the games in Rhode Island. What I would like to see brought back are the all New England championships. Each state's champion would play against the others for the New England crown.
